These were all personal photographs using an iPhone 6 and taken during a very quick autumn tour clockwise around the North Coast 500. October 2017, if memory serves correctly.
It was done with the aim of trying to see whether a golf tour could be created and we did manage Strathpeffer, Gairloch, Durness, Brora and Tain but it was the scenery that won it. Every corner we turned was another sharp intake of breathe; the autumn colours made it but it was everything and more we expected of it.
The images on here were a bit of a pain as they had to be converted from HEIC format to jpeg but most images wont need that step. The images were all between 1 and 3 Mb which is far to big for putting on an image a gallery so we "resized" them simply using the Photos programme that comes with most Windows programmes.
It's easy to do;
It's a little time consuming but do it properly first, retain the full size image for future use (headers and full page images); save a copy at gallery size and ensure that you have a solid folder structure then it's worth the time and effort as you'll easily be able to find what you want next time you have a social media post or newsletter to populate.
The photos are the uploaded into the images area in your site management and uploaded into the image gallery tab in our content management system - five minute job to put this images in. All of our new sites can have a variety of image gallery styles applied to each page giving each user the flexibility to show their images in a variety of ways. This image gallery utilises the Montage style
